Evaluation and Spatial Analysis of China′s Regional Carbon Emission Reduction Capacity Based on CRITIC-TOPSIS
Climate change is a common challenge for all mankind. In China′s climate governance action,it is expected to a-chieve the largest global reduction in carbon emission intensity in the shortest possible time.To achieve carbon peaking and car-bon neutrality,it is necessary to coordinate the overall and local relationships and effectively evaluate regional carbon emission re-duction capabilities.Based on the CRITIC-TOPSIS method,China′s regional carbon emission reduction capacity from 2015 to 2019 was measured and evaluated, and the spatial characteristics of carbon emission reduction capacity were analyzed by applying GIS technology. The results showed that index weights are constantly changing with the development of society. The scores of car-bon emission reduction capacity varied by region, with the eastern part being higher and the central and western part lower.Re-gional emission reduction capacity development shows a strong trend of spatial correlation, and high value clustering is more sig-nificant than low value clustering. The spatial distribution shows the phenomenon of"club convergence".Finally, the corre-sponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the problems existing in the current regional carbon emission reduc-tion capacity.
