Comparative Analysis of Different Recycling Modes for User Privacy Concern
There is a large amount of users′privacy information in waste electronic product.Users are very concerned about the disposal of these information by recyclers and their privacy concerns can affect the recycling rate of waste electronic products.In the case of recyclers investing in privacy shredding technology,Stackelberg game models of manufacturer recycling,retailer re-cycling and third-party recycler recycling were constructed respectively.By solving three decision model,the relationship be-tween user privacy concern and product prices,investment level of privacy shredding technology,transfer payment price,and the profits of each member of the supply chain is discussed.The results showed that:user privacy concern is negatively correlated with the product wholesale and retail prices,and positively correlated with recyclers′investment level in privacy shredding tech-nology,transfer payment price,and supply chain members′ profits;When the manufacturer recycle,the wholesale and retail prices of the product are always the smallest,but the invest in privacy shredding technology is always the largest;The investment level of privacy shredding technology and transfer payment price under the retailer recycling mode are always higher than those under the third-party recycling mode;In addition,the manufacturer recycling model is most beneficial for members to increase profits.
