Impact of Top Manager Zhongyong Leadership on Middle Manager Voice Behavior
As a combination of knowledge managers,innovation implementers,and scheme integrators,middle managers'voice behaviors are crucial for the effective decision-making of top managers and organizational management innovation.There is an increasingly urgent need to understand how to motivate middle managers 'voice behaviors.Therefore,based on social cognitive theory,this study explored the impact of top manager Zhongyong leadership on middle manager employee voice.The empirical data of 312 middle managers were collected through a two-stage self-report questionnaire survey.The results indicate that top manager Zhongyong leadership has a positive impact on middle managers 'voice behaviors;psychological security plays an inter-mediary role between top manager Zhongyong leadership and middle-level managers'voice behavior;and the informal status of middle managers has a negative moderating effect between middle managers 'psychological safety and their voice behavior.
