To investigate the impact of personality differences on diverse panic emotions during the evacuation process,the"OCEAN Big Five personality model"was coupled with the cellular automaton model to create the personnel evacuation movement model of personality-differentiated panic emotions.This model quantitatively analyzed the influence mechanism of personality differences on the panic emotion propagation and comprehensively integrated the impact of panic emotions on pedestrian movement speed.Based on the constructed model,the panic emotions of different personalities in the evacuation population were simulated.Results indicated that higher openness(O),conscientiousness(C),and extraversion(E)values or lower agreeableness(A)and neuroticism(N)values in pedestrians′individual characteristics increase the average panic level of the crowd.Different ini-tial distributions of personality-differentiated pedestrian characteristic values affect the evacuation efficiency of the crowd.The average panic level and evacuation time of pedestrians increase with higher population density.
