Research on Job Insecurity Profiles and Their Relationship with Innovation
To explore the individual differences in the job insecurity profiles and their relationship with innovation,based on the"person-centered"perspective,this study focuses on quantitative and qualitative job insecurity two dimensions,explores the job insecurity profiles using the latent profile analysis,and examines their relationship with innovation(motivation and innovative behavior).The results showed that:Five job insecurity profiles are found:low insecurity profile,general insecurity profile,quantitative-dominated insecurity profile,qualitative-dominated insecurity profile and high insecurity profile.There are signifi-cant differences in motivation and innovative behavior among the five job insecurity profiles.Therefore,enterprises should adopt differentiated strategies for different profiles of job insecurity groups in the innovative process.
