To uncover the thematic features of China′s employment policy across time and space,768 employment policies of various development regions between 2012 and 2022 were taken as data samples.The time of publication and development regions were taken as covariables to construct a structured thematic model of employment policy text.The results showed that among the 11 employment policy topics in China,the topic of apprenticeship employment occupies a significant position,while the topic of campus recruitment and targeted talent education receive less attention.In the temporal dimension,the evolution characteristics of employment policy topics are significantly different under the influence of COVID-19.In the spatial dimension,there are bi-ased differences in the employment policy topics among the eastern,central,western,and northeastern regions,influenced by factors such as economic base,geographical location,industrial development and education level.The governments of the devel-opment regions should further improve the employment policy system according to the characteristics and problems of local em-ployment.
