Nowadays,China is in the period of industrial transformation,and many old buildings and facilities are facing the situation of being dismantled and relocated without being able to survive.This paper takes Yixin Flour Mill,the beginning of modern industry in Wuhu,as a case study,adopts the literature method and field research method,and combines with the practice of protecting and utilizing the industrial heritage at home and abroad,and starting from the historical lineage and transformation status of Yixin Flour Mill,draws out the historical and social,architectural and economic values of the mill and puts forward the protection and utilization plan of museumization and creative experience space.In this way,the conservation and utilization of modern industrial heritage can be explored only by adapting to local conditions so that the cultural and economic benefits of industrial heritage can be balanced,and a unique urban culture can be built on the basis of the fusion of the ancient and the modern.
