IEEE1588-based multi-clock domain synchronization in smart substation
The traditional clock synchronization system occupies private network and has problems of lacking reliability,which can not meet the application requirements of the integration of high-precision data platform in smart substation.This paper first analyzes the synchronous clock synchronization requirements of power system as well as principle of the IEEE1588 protocol,and proposes a smart substation multi-clock domain data synchronization technology based on the IEEE1588,and proposes the best clock selection algorithm based on data sets comparison algorithm and state selection algorithm.Finally,the paper sets the merging unit as an example to introduce the design and realization of multi-clock domain synchronization.
