Study on network topological modes of runoff time series
In order to reveal the complex dynamic characteristics and nonlinear laws of runoff time series, the runoff time series was transformed into a complex network with the help of visualization method, and the net-work topology analysis theory was used to analyse the network parameters such as point strength, betweenness centrality, average path length, clustering coefficient, etc.,so as to find out the network topology characteris-tics and modes of runoff time series. The hydrological data of Shijiao Station in Beijiang River Basin and Waizhou Station in Ganjiang River Basin were collected to verify and analyse the network topological modes of runoff time series of Beijiang River and Ganjiang River. The results show that the clustering coefficients of Beijiang River and Ganjiang River runoff time series networks are both large and the average path lengths are small, and the networks have the characteristics of small world and scale-free network. The nodes with high centrality all correspond to the monthly runoffs in the middle of the year, and the nonlinear dynamic characteris-tics and topological modes of runoff time series of Beijiang River and Ganjiang River are similar. In this paper, the structural and internal dynamic characteristics of runoff time series are described from a new dimension, which is more conducive to revealing the multi-dimensional nonlinear characteristics of runoff time series.
