Resonance evaluation and propagation analysis of electric arc furnace inter-harmonics in distribution network
The non-linear load of electric arc furnace class often generates inter-harmonics in the frequency bands of 0.1-5,which brings the risk of parallel resonance to the distribution network and seriously endangers the power quality and safe and stable operation of the distribution network. This paper establishes a mathematical model of arc furnace load applicable to the study of non-smooth inter-harmonics,determines the frequency and central node of the distribution network where parallel resonance occurs based on the modal analysis method, and evaluates the effect of distribution network line elements on resonance by using the modal impedance sensitivity analysis method. The degree of amplification of inter-harmonic sources on other network nodes after connecting to different locations is quantified by using voltage transfer coefficients, and the effect of load changes on the voltage amplification intensity is evaluated based on the Sobol global sensitivity analysis method. Finally,a 9-node distribution network model is established in Matlab2021a to study and verify the resonance and propagation of inter-harmonics of electric arc furnace in the distribution network.
