Revision and application of seepage cubic law in rock fracture
The study of single fracture seepage in rock fracture is the basis for the permeability study of fractured rock masses. In addition to the hydraulic aperture of fracture, the morphology characteristics of fracture surface, such as the undulation roughness, are important factors affecting the permeability characteristics. In this paper, the research results of correction coefficient of single fissure cubic law are summarized firstly. Then, the numerical models of zigzag cracks and JRC(joint roughness coefficient)indices are established.Through numerical simulation, the correction coefficients formulas based on the comprehensive consideration of multiple geometric factors(e.g.relative convex height, dip angle and curvature of the fracture)and the JRC indices are proposed respectively. The former possesses the advantage of fully reflecting the rough shape of cracks and the correction coefficient is more accurate, whereas the latter is simple, convenient and fairly practical. Finally, taking the modified coefficient formula based on JRC index as an example, the results of three-dimensional permeability tensor of the fractured rock mass in a hydraulic project are presented.
