Study on dynamic stress response of geocell reinforced aeolian sand
In order to explore the influence of geocell-reinforced aeolian sand on dynamic stress response of roadbed, dynamic stress tests were conducted on two different roadbed structures of geocell reinforced aeolian sand roadbed and gravel soil roadbed respectively based on the S21 Awu Desert Expressway Project.A combination of field test and theoretical analysis was used to study the process and the law of the influence of driving dynamic traffic load on the geocell reinforced aeolian sand roadbed. The research results show that the dynamic stress on the top surface of aeolian sand roadbed shows an increasing linear trend with the increase of traffic load and a linearly decreasing trend with the increase of traffic speed, and the influence of vehicle axle weight is greater than that of vehicle speed. The longitudinal decay of dynamic stresses in the aeolian sand roadbed is an exponential function, and the vertical attenuation coefficient of dynamic stress in geocell-reinforced aeolian sand layer is about twice that of gravel soil layer. The calculation method of the depth of the working area of the desert expressway roadbed is determined according to dynamic stress decay curve and self-weight stress line. The study results can provide a reference for the design of desert expressway roadbeds.
