Therapeutic effect of mindfulness training on chronic insomnia disorder patients and its impact on inflammatory factors
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of mindfulness training on chronic insomnia patients and its impact on inflammatory factors. Methods A total of 82 patients with chronic insomnia disorder(CID)diagnosed in Jilin Provincial Corps Hospi-tal of Chinese People's Armed Police Force from February 2022 to May 2023 were selected and divided into observation group(41 ca-ses)and control group(41 cases). The control group received extropiclone tablet orally, and the observation group received dextropi-clone tablet combined with mindfulness training therapy. The two groups were treated for 5 weeks. The total effective rate, the changes of Pittsburgh Sleep index(PSQI)and insomnia severity index(ISI)before and after treatment, depression and anxiety status and the changes of inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Result The total effective rate of the observation group(90.24%)was higher than that of the control group(70.73%),and the difference was significant(χ2 =4.970,P=0.026).After treatment, the scores of PSQI and ISI scales in 2 groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The scores of the two scales after treatment in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)in 2 groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05).The scores of the two scales after treatment in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treat-ment,the serum levels of interleukin-1β and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α in 2 groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);After treatment, the levels of IL-1β and TNF-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Mindfulness training can improve the treatment effect of patients with chronic insomnia disorder, improve the sleep qual-ity of patients and reduce the inflammatory response of patients.
