Effect of individualized nutritional therapy on postoperative recovery and recurrence of u-rinary calculi
Objective To investigate the effect of individualized nutritional therapy on postoperative recovery and recurrence of urinary calculi. Methods A total of 84 patients with urinary calculi diagnosed and treated in the 980th Hospital of PLA Joint Logistic Support Force from January 2022 to December 2022 were randomly divided into nutritional intervention group(n=42)and control group(n=42).The patients in the control group received routine nutritional support, while the patients in the observation group re-ceived individualized nutritional treatment. The levels of serum albumin and 24-hour urinary Tamm-Horsfall protein(TH protein),cel-lular immune function, postoperative complications and stone recurrence 1 year after surgery were observed and compared between the two groups. Results After nutritional treatment, there was no significant difference in serum albumin level between observation group and control group, but the level of urinary TH protein in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).随访1 年后,观察组结石复发率为 7.14%,低于对照组的 21.43%(P<0.05).After nutritional intervention, the level of CD8+in ob-servation group was lower than that before treatment, and also lower than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with before nutritional treatment,CD4+/CD8+level in observation group increased after treatment, with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05).After treatment the level of CD4+/CD8+in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. After 1 year of follow-up,the recurrence rate of stone in observation group was 7.14%,which was lower than 21.43%in control group(P<0.05).The stone recurrence rate was 7.14%in the nutritional intervention group and 21.43%in the control group. Conclusions In-dividualized nutritional therapy can not only improve the cellular immune function of patients with urinary calculi, but also reduce the recurrence rate and the incidence of postoperative complications.
