Study on Integration of Port Logistics in China Based on Value Chain Theory
In this paper,we introduced the theoretical model of the value chain,discussed in detail the process for the integration of port logistics,which included four steps,namely firstly selecting the suitable customers,secondly utilizing the infrastructure within the scope of the ports,thirdly taking advantage of the logistics enterprises within the scope of the ports to launch freight forwarding businesses,and lastly maintaining the value chain group of the customers and developing new points of growth,and at the end,we introduced the problems in the process of the integration and the corresponding countermeasures.
