Progress,Hotspots and Frontier of Vehicle Routing Researches in China Based on CiteSpace
With the development of the transportation field,including the development of traffic infra-structure and traffic management technology,vehicle routing has become an important research field and has earned more and more attention.The study of vehicle routing can shed more light on the law of vehicle driv-ing,and provide scientific basis for traffic management,traffic planning and traffic decision-making.CiteSpace is a tool used to analyze academic literature for helping researchers understand research hotspots,frontiers and directions in a certain field.In this paper,CiteSpace was used to analyze the research progress,hotspots and frontiers of vehicle routing in China,so as to provide reference and guidance for related research.Through searching"research on vehicle routing problem"on CNKI,712 valid articles were obtained and made the research object.Firstly,we analyzed the annual number of published papers,the distribution of au-thors and research institutions,and ranked highly cited authors and research institutions.Then,we collected keyword frequency,carried out cluster analysis of keywords,and summarized the research hotspots in this field.Finally,we described the evolution trend of the research topics by constructing the time zone chart and the emergence chart.With the analysis,we come to the following conclusions:(1)The number of published pa-pers on vehicle routing shows a trend of fluctuating increase followed by gradual decrease.Researchers tend to conduct research independently and do not cooperate closely.(2)The hotspots of vehicle routing research in China mainly include traditional path planning algorithm,intelligent path planning and multi-objective path planning.(3)Problems relating to actual road conditions and traffic congestion are of great concern.By using methods such as traffic flow model and traffic prediction technology,researchers have explored how to consid-er the impact of actual road conditions and traffic congestion on logistics distribution,so as to improve the effi-ciency and reliability of vehicle distribution.(4)With the rapid development of emerging technologies,re-searchers are paying more and more attention to applying emerging frontier technologies such as big data,blockchain,Internet of Things,and smart logistics to the research field of vehicle routing in order to improve the depth and breadth of research.To sum up,in this paper we provided a theoretical basis for solving the vehicle routing problem and for-mulating relevant policies for the government,which has certain referential significance for the vehicle rout-ing research field.
