Research on Evolutionary Game of Household Appliances Recycling Behavior Based on Prospect Theory
In this paper,we studied the uncertainty of the behavior strategies of the main bodies in the pro-cess of household appliance recycling.Firstly,we pointed out the problems of the recycling of used house-hold appliances brought about by the rapid development of the electronic industry in China,and emphasized the importance of guiding consumers to choose the proper channels for waste recycling.Then,we reviewed the relevant researches and found that most existing studies were based on the expected utility theory,ignor-ing the limited rationality of the players.Therefore,we introduced the prospect theory,considering that the perceived benefits of the actual game players were affected by psychological factors,and constructed a three-party evolutionary game model involving the government,proper recyclers,and consumers.In model as-sumptions,each player had two strategies to choose.Specifically,the government's strategies can be strict su-pervision or lenient supervision,the proper recyclers'strategies can be active recycling or passive recycling,and the consumers'strategies can be active cooperation or passive cooperation.The prospect theory believes that the perceived benefits of unknown strategies by decision-makers are jointly determined by the value function and the weighting function.The payoff matrix can be derived based on the prospect theory,and there is no perceived deviation from actual utility.Then,we further analyzed the strategy choices of the gov-ernment,proper recyclers,and consumers,and constructed a three-dimensional replicator dynamic equa-tion.Next,we obtained the evolutionary stable strategies of the three parties through stability analysis.In the simulation analysis part,we considered the impact of the government's reward and punishment intensity and the participation degree of consumers on promoting the recycling enthusiasm of formal recyclers,set parame-ter values for simulation experiments to verify the reliability of the model and analyzed the influence of key parameters on the evolutionary trajectories of the three parties.Finally,based on research results,we put forward the following suggestions.Firstly,the government should play a guiding role,improve the dynamic adjustment mechanism of market incentives,strengthen le-gal guarantees,and reasonably set the subsidy range for household appliance recycling.Secondly,proper recy-clers should rely on favorable government policies to improve service capacity and reduce consumer partici-pation costs.Thirdly,consumers should raise their awareness of environmental protection and participate in the ecological construction process of recycling.These measures were conducive to promoting the develop-ment of formal household appliance recycling channels.
