The Dilemma and Solution of Internationalization Development in Higher Vocational Colleges from the Perspective of Structural Functionalism——Based on the Analysis of the Annual Quality Report of Higher Vocational Colleges in Shaanxi Province
Internationalization is an inevitable trend in the rapid development of higher vocational education in the context of powerful country in education.Utilizing the structural functionalism AGIL model and drawing from the 2023 an-nual quality report of higher education,this paper analyzes the current state of internationalization development in 40 higher vocational colleges in Shaanxi Province.From the perspectives of"adaptation,goal realization,integration,and potential mode maintenance,"the analysis indicates that the internationalization status of these colleges requires en-hancement due to low school-running levels,imperfect internationalization systems,and a lack of international develop-ment characteristics.Drawing conclusions from the Shaanxi Province case study,the paper proposes optimization paths for solving the dilemma:strengthen top-level design,clarify school-running objectives,establish an operational mecha-nism,andenrich connotation construction,etc.
