"Guidelines on Accelerating the Construction of High-level Undergraduate Education and Comprehensive Im-provement of Talent Training Capacity"of the Ministry of Education of China stresses the necessity of"strengthening the awareness of quality assurance in universities,enhancing the self-assessment system,and refining the internal quality as-surance system."Xinjiang Institute of Engineering,a newly established undergraduate university,cultivate a"sustainable ecological environment"suitable for the education and teaching quality assurance system of newly established undergradu-ate institutions,and build its own education and teaching quality assurance system which operates very effectively by tak-ing five measures.First,improve mechanisms to establish a closed-loop management of quality assurance.Second,foster a quality assurance system of a virtuous ecological environment.Third,strengthen the construction of quality assurance sys-tem teams.Fourth,detail daily monitoring and operation processes.Fifth,emphasize feedback and continuous improve-ment work.These efforts cultivate a"virtuous ecological environment"suitable for the education and teaching quality as-surance system of newly established undergraduate institutions,build the education and teaching quality assurance system of Xinjiang Institute of Engineering,and ensure its effective operation.
