物理前沿融入数学物理方法教学的探讨——以勒让德多项式为例

勒让德多项式是数学物理方法中极其重要的内容,在物理中有重要的应用,掌握勒让德多项式对学生后续学习和工作有重要影响.然而,诸多教材对勒让德多项式的物理应用并没有做详细的讨论,仅用有限的篇幅介绍勒让德多项式的引入及其性质,对其在物理研究中的讨论相对缺乏.结合笔者的研究方向,将勒让德多项式在物理前沿研究中的应用融入课程辅助教学,以加深学生对知识点的理解,激发学生学习兴趣,同时增加学生对知识理解的深度及广度,引导学生将所学知识应用于物理研究和解决实际问题.
Exploration on Integrating the Frontiers of Physics into the Teaching of Mathematical Physics Methods—Taking Legendre Polynomials as an Example
Legendre polynomials are an extremely important element of the mathematical physics method and have important applications in physics.A deep understand of Legendre polynomials has a significant impact on students'subsequent studies and work.However,many textbooks do not discuss the physical applications of Legendre polynomials in detail.They only briefly introduce polynomials and their properties,without discussing their application in physics research.To enhance teaching,this work proposes integrating the use of Legendre polynomials in frontier physics research into the curriculum.This will deepen students'understanding of the subject matter,stimulate their interest in learning,and broaden their knowledge.The aim is to assist students in applying the knowledge they have acquired to physics research and practical problem-solving.
