Objective To establish the quality criterion of cockscomb charcoal decoction pieces.Methods The quality standard was estab-lished based on the properties of character,water content,ash content,extract content and the content of total flavonoids.Results The proposed standard was that the moisture content should not exceed 13.0％,the water extract content should not be less than 18.0％,the total ash content should not exceed 13.0％,and the acid insoluble ash content should not exceed 3.0％.The total flavonoid content is not less than 1.2％.ConlustionThe data obtained in this study are real and reliable,and can provide a theoretical basis for establishing the quality standard of cockscomb charcoal.
