Xi Jinping's important expositions on ideological and political education in colleges and universities are rich in content,strict in logic and clear in orientation.Focusing on the fundamental issues of who to educate,of how to educate people,and for whom to educate,the goal of education being"educate people with new value in new era",the task of be-ing"cultivating people with high morality"and the orientation of education being"four services"have been put forward.From the perspective of generative logic,Xi Jinping's expositions on education continue the ideological and political educa-tion tradition of the Communist Party of China and reflect on the problems existing in the development of ideological and po-litical education in inheriting the Marxist ideological and political education theory.To better implement Xi Jinping's impor-tant expositions on ideological and political education in colleges and universities,we must adhere to the overall leadership of the communist party in building a strong team of teachers,making good use of the main channels of classroom teaching and building a new pattern of online ideological and political education.
