By using research methods such as bibliometrics and mathematical statistics,taking 544 journal articles in-cluded in CNKI(among them 129 articles in core journals)related to winning factors in competitive sports over the past 30 years from 1992 to 2022 as the research objects,this paper mainly renders an analysis of the research status and trends from five dimensions:annual distribution of literature quantity,main-published journals,core authors,publishing institutions,and high-frequency keywords with a summarizing of the evolution in understanding,research direction,research content,and research methods of the concept of winning factors in competitive sports.Based on the research results,this paper also gives a comprehensive and objective analysis about the limitation of the research.Through an analysis of the research status and limitations about the winning factors in competitive sports over the past 30 years,this paper aims to clarify a direction and trend of future research and offer a guiding reference for future sports researchers in China.
