It is an objective need to introduce the concept of meta-universe and regard it as a feasible path in the digital transformation and reformative development of ideological and political education for it can overcome some problems in it such as the lack of emotional education,the blockage of educational information and too-simple educational means in reality in China.Ideological and political education based on the perspective of meta-universe will contribute to awaken the sponta-neity and subjectivity of the educated,implement differentiated and experimental ideological and political education,and rev-olutionize and upgrade the educational scenario.However,in the process of"meta universe empowering ideological and po-litical education",many challenges must be dealt with such as the loss of individual education for educators,the trust crisis in educators,and the data risk of educational scenarios.In the process of the continuous digital transformation of ideological and political education,some important issues must be given attention,namely,the learning subjectivity of the educated must be motivated,educators must adhere to the goal of moral education,educational scenarios must be used by adherence to the organic integration of technology and ideological and political education.
