Excellent Chinese traditional culture has very rich educational resources,and the ideas and moral norms it contains are important ideological resources for cultivating morality and educating people in colleges and universities through the ideological and political courses.The integration of excellent Chinese traditional culture into the ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is not only an inherent requirement for inheriting the cultural genes of the Chinese na-tion,but also a practical need to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,and what's more it is an important starting point for improving the teaching quality of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.Between excellent Chinese traditional culture and ideological and political courses there exists a high degree of coupling in terms of moral education functions,educational goals and value orientations,which offers a great deal possibili-ty for them to achieve full integration.At present,to promote the integration of excellent Chinese traditional culture into the ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,we must persist in transforming the discourse system to improve its receptivity,integrating teaching resources to enrich its support and innovating practice models to forming the synergy be-tween them.
