Since 2020,the research on Sima Qian has achieved relatively rich results in the academic community with following characteristics.Firstly,although the research content still mainly focuses on the exploration of Sima Qian's liter-ary and historical ideas,it also involves his economic,political,philosophical,ethnic,military,music,ethics,medical and other ideological achievements,as well as academic inheritance and influence,indicating that the research content cov-ers a wide range.Secondly,in terms of research methods,interdisciplinary research has been given more attention,such as the use of theories from history,literature,political science,military science,psychology,medicine,etc,among which,especially,precious excavated materials have been utilized as much as possible to further broaden the research perspective.Thirdly,several research monographs with high academic value have been published.Fourthly,several academic seminars on Sima Qian have been held,which played an important role in promoting the in-depth development of Sima Qian's re-search.Fifthly,Weinan Normal University as the Sima Qian Research Center continues to play an important role more and more.
