The realization of the effectiveness of ideological and political education is directly impacted by the quality of methods used in ideological and political education,and actively-innovated ways and methods is an important proposition to strengthen ideological and political education in the new era.On the basis of adhering to the concept of historical material-ism,this paper renders a historical exploration of the CPC in the development of ideological and political education methods since the founding of new China,and it indicates that the development of ideological and political education methods must follow the guidance of Marxist methodology,closely follow the development of modern technology and information,and consolidate the"lifeline"position of ideological and political education.As a matter of fact,on a new journey in the new era,the development of ideological and political education methods should emphasize practicality,pursue innovative think-ing,strengthen reflection and summary and continue to promote upholding fundamental principles with new breakthrough made eventually.
