the third plenary session of the 20th CPC put forward the requirement of emhancing cultural self-confidence for developing advanced socialist culture.which marks the Party's awareness of the important position of cultural construc-tion and its laws to a new level.The construction of a strong socialist culture power in the new era has been planned with new theoretical implications:it is a realistic demand to effectively meet the people's new expectations for a better life,a comprehensive enhancement of the cultural connotation of"realizing the second hundred-year goal",a guidance for realiz-ing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and China's commitment to creating a new form of human civilization.To build a strong socialist culture,we must move forward in the correct direction:focusing on the goal of promoting"great cultural development and prosperity",adhering to the guidance of Chinese Marxism,and taking the ex-cellent traditional Chinese culture as the"root"and"soul"to vigorously carry forward the revolutionary culture and ad-vanced socialist culture of modern times and absorb all the outstanding achievements of foreign civilizations and cultures.In general,to promote the socialist cultural power,it should be carried out in two dimensions:macro policy orientation and micro reality,following the basic principle of"macro grasp,micro entry",and deal with the relationship between the top-level design and the implementation of the tasks,so as to stimulate the vitality of cultural innovation and creativity of the whole society to the maximum extent.
