For English-American Literature teaching,it is the objective requirement,to be empowered by digital hu-manities,of the strategy for invigorating China through science and education as well as an inevitable trend of the develop-ment for informatization and digital intelligence.Such attributes as cross-disciplines,technology-guidance and humanity-lead-ing of digital humanities enable English-American Literature teaching to reach its reform target of knowledge reconstruction,interdisciplinary integration and digital-intelligence development.By integrating the technological means and resources of dig-ital humanities into English-American Literature teaching,an immersive language-learning environment can be created for optimizing the cultivating mode of humanistic quality and constructing the diversified teaching mode so as to build students'comprehensive abilities,including the autonomous learning,the IT application,the critical thinking,the academic inquiry and the collaborative innovation.In so doing,it is easily found that it is not only the route for the effective unity of digital humanities and English-American Literature teaching,but also an inevitable measure for English-American Literature teach-ing to keep pace with the times and develop innovation.
