The Influence of Energy Efficiency Improvement and Learning-by-Doing on China's Peak Carbon Dioxide Emissions Process——Analysis of Carbon Decoupling Elasticity Based on Endogenous Growth Model
China's promotion of peak carbon dioxide emissions process is different from the national conditions faced by developed countries,so we must adhere to the independent strategy and path of carbon reduction by science and technolo-gy.By building an endogenous growth model and borrowing the concept of carbon decoupling elasticity, this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of energy technology(energy-saving technology, energy investment alternative technology and car-bon removal technology)on China's peak carbon dioxide emissions process, and empirically simulates the influence of ener-gy efficiency improvement and learning by doing effect on China's peak carbon dioxide emissions process in three situations of GDP benchmark growth,high-speed growth and low-speed growth. The results show that the average annual growth rate of energy efficiency is an important factor affecting the peak carbon dioxide emissions process. The higher the energy efficien-cy level, the earlier the peak carbon dioxide emissions time will be realized. The effect of learning by doing brought by the government's carbon reduction action will help to realize the peak carbon dioxide emissions ahead of schedule. It is suggest-ed that we should pay attention to the guiding role of strategic planning in promoting the peak carbon dioxide emissions pro-cess as early as possible, specifically we should promote energy conservation and energy efficiency continuously, improve the reform of energy market system and promote the clean and low-carbon transformation of energy structure orderly, and raise awareness of energy conservation and promote actions of energy conservation and carbon reduction Comprehensively.
