Antibacterial mechanism and differential gene analysis of traditional Chinese medicine mixture on Trichophyton rubrum
Objective To explore the antibacterial mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine mixture(Rhizoma anemarrhenae,Rhizoma coptidis,Cortex pseudolaricis,Kochia scoparia,Cassia seed and Phellodendri chinensis cortex)against Trichophyton rubrum. Methods High throughput sequencing technology was used to screen the differential genes after the traditional Chinese medicine mixture acted on Trichophyton rubrum. The differential genes were analyzed by bioinformatics based on GO and KEGG databases. Results The traditional Chinese medicine mixture affects the detoxification, defense, efflux and metabolism of Trichophyton rubrum by up-regulating the genes of short chain dehydrogenase, glutathione transferase, fungal hydrophobic protein and other products, and down-regulating the genes of formaldehyde dehydrogenase, glyoxalase, efflux pump and other products. Its mechanism mainly involves the changes of cell wall, cell membrane and material metabolism. Conclusion The traditional Chinese medicine mixture has a good inhibitory effect on Trichophyton rubrum. The inhibitory effect may be related to cell wall and cell membrane integrity, material metabolism and other pathways. This research provides a basis for the development of new antifungal drugs.
