A Study on Street Names'Culture Landscapes in Yunnan Province
Ganjie(go to a fair)is a trade activity in rural areas of Yunnan Province.It has been taking shape since the Yuan and Ming Dynasties.In this paper,709 street names of in Yunnan atlas are taken as objects.It is found that the spatial distribution characteristics of the street names in Yunnan are widely distributed and mainly concentrated in the central and western part of Yunnan.The main influencing factors are the ancient commercial and trade roads in Yunnan.Additionally,the main factors affecting the naming of street are the place names of the zodiac and the numeral place names of the lunar calendar,which reflect the changes of old and new place names,the scale,geographical position and the time of the street,the land forms in the street places,and the system of the administrative military post road,the relationship with religious and astronomical education activities,local representative property and industrial and agricultural activities,important building entities and place names with good implications,reflecting the local ethnic names.
