A Review of Seventy Years of Research on Yunnan Minority Drama(1952-2022)
The study of minority drama in Yunnan has made remarkable achievements in the 70 years from 1952 to 2022.It is found that Yunnan minority drama has roughly experienced three stages of historical development.The first stage is the period of introduction and innovation(1952-1966),during which dramas were officially named,troupes were established,and traditional plays were excavated and sorted out.The second stage is the recovery and prosperity period(1978-2006),in which drama performances gradually resumed and plays were created and adapted.The third stage is the protection and development period(2006-2022),during which plays are included in the intangible cultural heritage,the repertoire is fully prosperous,and the cultural value of representative plays is explored.Each stage has achieved unique achievements.This paper reviews and sorts out the research situation of Yunnan minority drama,summarizes its achievements and shortcomings,in order to have a general grasp of the research trend of Yunnan minority drama,and provide references for the social development and related research of Yunnan minority drama in the new era.
