The Strategies of Integrating Chinese Culture into the Second English Classroom of Junior High School from the Perspective of Cultural Confidence
In order to effectively spread Chinese culture and values,improve junior high school students'intercultural communication ability and build national cultural confidence,this paper conducted field visits and surveys on the implementation of junior high school English second classroom in 11 middle schools in Wenshan Prefecture,Yunnan Province.It is understood that students'English cognition of Chinese culture is not optimistic enough,there is a gap in the integration of Chinese culture and English second classroom,and the second English classroom of junior high school is often occupied by other courses.In view of this situation,strategies for integrating Chinese culture into the second English classroom of junior high school from the perspective of cultural confidence are discussed from the aspects of telling Chinese stories well with multiple carriers,brainstorming with local materials,entering situational experiential learning,meeting the needs of interest and expertise development,cultivating critical thinking,and evaluating from multiple perspectives,so as to improve the teaching efficiency of the second English classroom of junior high school,enrich and complement the learning content and activity forms of the second English classroom.
