The Optimization by Orthogonal Test Method for Adsorption of Zn in Wastewater with Secondary Iron Minerals Produced by Acidithiobacillus Ferrooxidans
Orthogonal test method was used to optimize the adsorption of Zn in wastewater with secondary iron minerals produced by Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans. The removal rate of Zn were determined by orthogonal test, and the secondary iron minerals dosage,pH and adsorption time were influencing factors based on the single factor experiments. The results showed that the removal rate of Zn reached the maximum, when the secondary iron minerals dosage was 0.6 g,pH was 2.4 and adsorption time was 36 h.The optimum conditions of Zn adsorption in wastewater obtained by orthogonal method has the value of practical application, which may lay a theoretical foundation for the treatment of local zinc pollution.
