The Xichou spirit is an ideological product of Xichou people's overcoming of the difficult natural environment and backward social environment in Xichou County under the Party's uniting and leading,which embodies the"ideas"and"actions"of the socialist construction cause in Yunnan Province.According to the resolution of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee,continuing the Xichou spirit will be conducive to gathering vigorous forces for the"practical development of Yunnan".The article revolves around the continuous development of the Xichou spirit,and provides a logical analysis from three aspects:generation,theory,and practice.It believes that the Xichou spirit is a product of the Party's unity and leadership of the people's hard work and self-reliance under the historical conditions of revolutionary construction and the harsh natural and social environment.It contains theoretical connotations such as self strengthening,hard work,overcoming difficulties,daring to be the first,and taking on responsibilities.Based on this,it is proposed to adhere to the leadership of the Party,deepen the people-centered approach,implement social construction,and provide solid political guarantees,solid practical foundations,and solid material carriers for the continued development of the Xichou spirit.
