High-quality Development of Rural Preschool Education in the Digital Era:Opportunities,Challenges and Responses
The era of digitalization has brought new opportunities for the quality of rural preschool education in China,which not only provides a pillar for narrowing the gap between urban and rural preschool education,empowers and enhances the professional growth of rural early childhood teachers,but also builds a bridge for rural kindergartens to collaborate with their families and communities,and provides a platform for highlighting the characteristics of rural preschool education.However,there are also some challenges,mainly reflected in the rural digital policy system,hardware and software configuration and teachers'digital literacy is limited.In this regard,the top-level design should be improved to perfect the policy system for the digital development of rural preschool education;the basic configuration should be optimized to create an atmosphere of digital education in rural preschool education;and the training program should be reformed to enhance the systematic cultivation of digital literacy among rural kindergarten teachers.
