Two New Soil-Inhabiting Phialemoniopsis Record Strains
The species resources of Phialemoniopsis in China were investigated.Classic morphology characteristic andmolecular phylogenetic analyses were used to identify the isolates.Six strains of the genus Phialemoniopsis were ob-tained from soil of the green belt of Hainan University Haidian Campus in Haikou,Hainan Province and Mt.Mule Ec-ological Park in Ji'an,Jiangxi Province.Strains GZUIFR 21.872 and GZUIFR 21.873 were very similar to the origi-nal description of Phialemoniopsis ocularis in morphology and clustered into a subclade with the sequences of type strain of P.ocularis in phylogenetic tree.Strains GZUIFR 21.874 and GZUIFR 21.875 were very similar to the origi-nal description of Phialemoniopsis endophytica in morphology and clustered into a subclade with the sequences of type strain of P.endophytica in phylogenetic tree.Strains GZUIFR 21.876 and GZUIFR 21.877 were very similar to the originaldescription of Phialemoniopsis pluriloculosa in morphology and clustered into a subclade with the sequences of type strain of P.pluriloculosa in phylogenetic tree.P.ocularis and P.pluriloculosa are new record strains to China,P.endophytica was first isolated from the soil and is saprophytic, the discovery of these three members further en-riched the species resources of the genus in our country.
