Advances in Susceptibility Factors and Prevention Strategies for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection in Infants and Young Children
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) poses a severe challenge to public health that cannot be ignore,partic-ularly threatening the health of infants and young children.Infancy is one of the most vulnerable stages in human life, and RSV is a leading cause of lower respiratory tract infections during infancy and childhood. This article summarized the precision between RSV and the susceptibility of infants and young children. The essential features of RSV are re-viewed,and a deep exploration of the developmental and physiological features of the infant immune system is conduc-ted to explain the reasons for infants' relative susceptibility to RSV.The impact of RSV infection on the respiratory sys-tem of infants and young children is elaborated.A comprehensive evaluation of current prevention and intervention strategies is provided, and future research directions are outlined. The ultimate aim is to offer scientific were analyzed for more effective control strategies and to provide a reference for future research and answer of respiratory diseases in infancy and children.
