With the application and development of blockchain technology,China has introduced relevant blockchain policies to ensure the healthy development of blockchain in China.However,there are criminals using the unique technology of blockchain to conduct virtual currency pyramid schemes overseas,attracting domestic personnel to participate.Such crimes are characterized by the virtual nature of the perpetrators and targets,rapid dissemination,deception,circumvention of internet censorship,and organized group operations,seriously affecting social stability.The crime space is transferred from the physical space to the virtual space,making it difficult to col-lect related evidence and verify the identity of criminals and apprehend them due to the lack of relevant legal basis.Therefore investigators should change their investigative mindset and establish a big data concept in accordance with existing laws and regulations when sorting out the criminal network,arresting criminal suspects,obtaining evidence,fixing evidence,and recovering stolen goods and preventing damages,form a multi-party joint force so as to predict,prevent,and crack down on blockchain and virtual currency pyramid scheme.
