Empirical Research on Building Netizens'Trust in Police and Optimizing Strategies
In the highly digitalized era,the Internet has now become an important platform for both policing and building public trust in police,which is also the crucial stage to build government administration credibility.Based on the logic of Signal Theory and the pattern of"Cognition-Emotion-Behavior",this article proposes a moderated chain mediation model.Multivariate statistical methods for hypothesis testing are used to verify the soundness of chain mediation path starting from the presence and character of police online to public cognitive trust to emotional trust,finally to netizens'behavioral support,and the negative regulatory role played by online environment between police on line presence and netizens'cognitive trust.Based on the empirical findings,this article puts forward the targeted optimization strategies for building netizens'trust in police.Public security organs should strengthen their online services and correct values,release positive signals,build cognitive trust,attach importance to the main role of the people in online interaction,build emotional connections,leverage the advantages of online media to broaden the channels for shaping the image of the police.
