"The police defense and control"course is offered in public security and police academies in accordance with the relevant requirements of police training programs and is also applied in the in-service training of police officers.However,the current teaching and training outcomes do not meet the basic needs of building practical combat capabilities of the public security forces.This article adopts such methods as questionnaire surveys,field research,and experiment and training to address the issue from both the aspects of academic education and police officer in-service training.Targeted research has been conducted in areas such as ensuring the level of importance attached to,optimizing teaching and training models,strengthening teacher training,and promoting innovative reforms,with the aim of providing valuable suggestions and references for enhancing the defense and control capabilities of cadet officers and front-line police officers.
