Yuzhu Baodian,written by Du Taiqing,a scholar of Sui Dynasty,is a folklore work with the nature of specialized cyclopedia,in which many linguistic materials are preserved.In this paper,Yuzhu Baodian,the First Series of Book Integration photocopied the version proofread in Zunjing Pavilion Library,is taken as the basic material to analyze the characters,phonology and exegetics materials included in it,and to explore its important value in the study of document linguistics.
