A thorough examination of the process from Yue to Yueding,and to Yuedingsucheng in Hsun Tzu's works,and an investigation starting from the usage of the word Yueding during Qin and the Two Hans Dynasties,then a research on the process of Yuedingsucheng from the origin of its emergence,forming and evolution.It was discovered that Yuedingsucheng used by Hsun Tzu refers to the need for official top-down standardization in the production and use of new words,but also bottom-up processing and tempering on the basis of historical accumulation and folk customs.
