Chinese rhyme books have a history of more than 1700 years.Countless rhyme books compiled by scholars of the past dynasties.Along with the compilation of these innumerable rhyme books,the styles were constantly changing,and many types have appeared.The inheritance relationships among them are also complicated.After years of extensive research and careful selection,the historical materials related to Chinese rhyme books are traced,sorted and verified by author.Based on these works,the names and meanings,styles,types and characteristics of rhyme books have combed and investigated.In this article,Chinese rhyme books are summarized into three main styles and five derivative styles,divided into seven major categories and twenty subcategories,and their basic characteristics are also described.
