Erya is the first synonym dictionary in ancient China.It searches for different names of noun and object words as a rectification of exegesis.Guo Pu's Erya Zhu is the earliest and most complete extant edition of Erya's explaining.According to the standard of"One meaning"of synonyms in Erya,Guo Pu used different names to explain the nouns in Erya Zhu,and constructed various types of synonyms.The synonym of the original building of Erya has also been expanded and reconstructed.It forms a unique feature of synonym group in terms of word structure,word type and writing form,and distinguishes the similarities and differences in many languages.Guo regarded Erya as a monograph on synonym exegesis,which was collected and explained in accordance with the tradition of synonym exegesis and showed a new look of synonym in all the dynasties that followed.The concealment and discrimination of noun synonyms in Guo Pu's Erya Zhu have historical value that can not be ignored.
