坚持立德树人本色 反哺专业人才培养——2023年全国高等学校英语专业八级考试评析

摘要
全国高等学校英语专业八级考试(TEM8)坚持立德树人原则,致力于对接英语专业人才培养目标.本文首先分析了 2023 年TEM8 的考试素材,发现TEM8 将育人价值隐性融入整张试卷之中,践行了考试育人的根本理念.其次,基于考试命题的视角,文章指出TEM8 具有专业性、真实性、人文性和思辨性四大特点,充分体现了考试以文化人的核心价值.最后,本文从TEM8 反拨效应出发,强调英语专业的教学应高度重视人文素养的提升和思辨能力的培养,最终落实立德树人的根本任务.
Abstract
Test for English Majors-Grade 8(TEM8)adheres to the principle of fostering virtue through education and aims to align with the objectives of English major talent cultivation.This paper first analyzes the test materials used in TEM82023 and reveals that TEM8 integrates educational values and principles into the test design and content.From the perspective of test design,this paper then examines the four key characteristics of TEM8,namely major-specific knowledge,authentic language use,humanistic literacy and critical thinking abilities,which fully reflect the core value of cultivating cultured individuals through exams.Finally,with regard to the washback effect,this paper proposes that English major education should give due importance to the cultivation of humanistic literacy and critical thinking abilities,in order to achieve the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education.
