Opportunities and Challenges of Small and Medium-sized Chinese Businesses in Southeast Asia under the Belt and Road Initiative
The deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative,the encouragement and support policies of the governments of China and Southeast Asian countries,economic and trade cooperation and docking platforms set up by the two sides provide opportunities for small and medium-sized Chinese enterprises in Southeast Asia to participate in the Belt and Road construction.But at the same time,small and medium-sized Chinese enterprises in Southeast Asia are also faced with security risks brought by their host country's doubts about the Belt and Road strategy,potential competition and estrangement with enterprises from China,poor anti-risk ability and other factors.Small and medium-sized Chinese businesses in Southeast Asia need to change their mentality,reposition themselves,actively integrate into the construction of the Belt and Road,seize this historical opportunity,and meet the challenges with flexibility and innovation.
