Research on Ecological Compensation for Rice Fields Based on the Dual Perspectives of Rice Farmers and Consumers
Ecological compensation is a key measure to solve the problem of agricultural environmental pollution and promote rural revitalization.Based on the data of 385 questionnaires conducted in Guangxi,from the dual perspectives of rice farmers and consumers,the conditional value assessment method and equal utility function method were used to measure the ecological compensation standard for rice fields,and the key factors affecting the preference degree of"free-riding"rice farmers and the level of consumer payment were analyzed.The results showed that:(1)the compensation level of rice farmers was 7588.05 yuan·hm-2,which was 5179.80 yuan·hm-2 after modification;(2)the payment level of rice farmers was 2689.95 yuan·hm-2,and the payment level of consumers was 1108.65 yuan·hm-2;(3)the degree of free-riding preference of rice farmers was significantly affected by age,ethnicity,subject of ecological protection responsibility and economic benefit;(4)the level of consumer payment is significantly affected by age,ethnicity,understanding of ecological compensation and degree of environmental concern.
