Against the background of aesthetic education in the new era, this article builds a theoretical framework for analysing the ambiguous beauty of the Japanese language based on the"Eight Aesthetic Consciousnesses of Japan"proposed by Masayuki Kurokawa.Start-ing from the three dimensions of ambiguous beauty, namely image, form and intention, the framework examines the linguistic representations related to voids, states and emotions, and analyses and summarizes the interactive relationship between linguistic expressions and aesthetic concepts. The investigation of the ambiguous beauty of the Japanese language is can provide a reference for the reform of teaching content and evaluation standards for the further development and improvement of Japanese classroom teaching.
